Commonly used in wall frames and roof trusses, Big River supplies treated and untreated pine framing from both Australian and imported softwood species for structural use in residential and commercial building applications. Following a high tech manufacturing process, every piece of frame is mechanically graded and then checked to ensure they meet the design properties and characteristics specified for its designated grade. Each piece is individually marked for easy identification.
Available in three different strengths (MGP10, MGP12, MGP 15), Pine Framing supplied by Big River complies with AS/NZS1748 and design properties specified in AS1720.1 (both 1997 and 2010 versions).
Sourced from leading manufacturers in Australia and Europe, pine framing supplied by Big River only comes from renewable resources, and the frame is planer gauged after high temperature kiln drying, ensuring consistent size and easy handling for builders onsite.
